Liberty Grant

A grant has been established for Veterans* of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their eligible spouses. To be eligible for the Liberty Grant, a candidate must be accepted for admission at Coding Dojo, complete the Liberty Grant attestation form, and allow for verification of his or her military status. Spouses may be asked to verify marital status and spouse's military service.

A 5% grant will be applied for all Coding Dojo programs.

Examples of acceptable documentation may include:
  • DD214
  • Certificate of Discharge

*Discharged Veterans must have a discharge other than dishonorable.

Open House Attendance Grant

  • Coding Dojo students who attend Open House will receive a one-time $100 grant posted to their account.
  • Attendance at the Open House will be confirmed by Coding Dojo before the grant is posted.
  • The grant will be posted to the student's account during the first 6-week session.











Coding Dojo Advantage Grant

The purpose of the Advantage Grant is to recognize students who face personal and/or financial hardships in pursuit of a certificate at Coding Dojo. This grant is awarded up to $750 per certificate program. In addition to the Coding Dojo General Grant and Scholarship Conditions, students must also meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must submit a minimum 500-word essay on how they intend to use the skills learned at Coding Dojo to benefit others and society.
  • The grant recipient must be a student currently attending or enrolled for a future start at Coding Dojo.
